 REALTOR® Expo - 9:00 a.m. to noon
Featuring 50 vendors representing all aspects of the real estate industry.  Network with vendors and other real estate professionals. Bring your business cards to be entered into drawings.
 GNIAR Elections - 9:00 a.m. to noon
Must be an eligible member to vote for candidates running for the five open director positions and two officer positions - treasurer and president-elect.

 Lunch - 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
After the expo and elections, stay for lunch and network with fellow GNIAR members.

 GNIAR Annual Meeting - 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
This meeting is one of the most important meetings of the year where GNIAR members can hear an organization update from GNIAR leadership, find out who this years’ REALTOR® and Affiliate of the Year are and be the first to know the election results. The winner of the RPAC Treasure Hunt will also be announced.

 

Guest Speaker Announced:

Gabrielle Owens from the Indiana Office of Attorney General will be the guest speaker at the GNIAR Annual Meeting, Thursday, August 28, 2008, discussing the Office of the Attorney General’s Role in the fight against mortgage fraud. The annual meeting is scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m., after the GNIAR elections and trade expo, which begin at 9 a.m. at the Avalon Manor, 3550 East US 30, in Merrillville.

Ms. Owens is the Section Chief of the Professional Licensing & Homeowner Protection Unit, which is within the Consumer Protection Division of the Indiana Office of the Attorney General.  She has been with the Office of the Attorney General since April 2006.  Prior to her employment with the Indiana Office of the Attorney General, she was employed as an Assistant Counsel with the Pennsylvania Office of Inspector General for over 8 years.
