The short explanation of this alert was:
I
know many of you or your clients have experienced the crowded
conditions at our local medical facilities firsthand. Our medical
facilities have been struggling to play catch-up to the rampant growth
that we experienced during the past decade.
But
did you know...
That
within a 20 minute drive of most of us there's a brand new 72,000 SqFt, $53 Million
medical facility?
- It
offers 30 private emergency
rooms - no more piling the sick & injured into the
hallways!
- It
houses the Valleys ONLY
neo-natal intensive care center (NICU) complete with two
operating theaters.
- It
dedicates a full floor to womens
services, including birthing rooms and state-of-the-art
infant care in each room.
- It
would eliminate the current
overcrowding, make more beds available at the
current facility and expedite emergency access.
- This
center has been completed since
late last year.
- It
has been fully staffed since
January.
- IT HAS NOT BEEN
ALLOWED TO OPEN because two state agencies are
playing politics with the lives of Southwest California
residents.
